The outdoor part of a temple in Kuala Lumpur. The fake cave looks more real on this HDR shot than the palms and trees in the background, which are real.
The second HDR trial was taken last Saturday in a Cologne street cafe. As the street was buzzing with shoppers, some ghostly creatures appear on the photos that formed the base of the HDR result.
A new category for these special photos has been added to the blog.
If you click on the small picture to the left you will be led to the very first sample of my HDR experiments. Or the first one that makes any sense putting it on display. HDR somehow defines a new era for photography, though it is not obvious how popular it will be with everyday photography. Surely there will be camera equipment and software around in the future that´ll make the handling easier than it is today. And for sure a lot of the results will be impressive. But for many people that love to take pictures of auntie Annie in her garden it might be just a strange gadget for art students.
