...down it seems. Watching the stocks dive was a bit of fun last week. Not really but at least there was the comfort I sold one major position just last week, close to it´s peak. I missed the right time with other invests in 2001 though, just as anybody else. The interesting aspect behind all those up and downs is the role of the individuals behind it. How many millions opt for the sale button when the downward spiral starts? And how much of the downward spiral is fuelled by individuals doing so? Or how many of them catch their breath, wait for the relative lower end and push their money into the game again? With private investors having to pay a 25% tax on their capital income from 2009 onwards here in Germany, there is big money waiting to be invested before the end of 2008. The question is just when to do so, at what stage of the roller coaster.
