It´s funny (non pun intended) I still meet people who have not watched Little Britain yet. We saw an episode from series 2 again last night and were still cracking up with laughter. I can´t remember seeing anything that funny for ages. Normally German television is quite keen on importing series from abroad or copying concepts. So Mr. Bean was seen here soon after it was show in the UK, Spitting Image had a brief and not so funny cousin in Germany and even The Office has a spawned a twin with Stromberg. But Little Britain has the advantage of showing deepest black humour, rude and camp jokes that can not be translated nor dubbed properly. I suppose there would be a major outcry - like in some parts of Bavaria - if Little Britain was shown on German prime time TV. The series was on in catholic but liberal Spain, but I can´t imagine it being show here. As well because Germans are too lazy to watch movies with subtitles on their national channels. So cheer up Germany and meet the people of Britain, Britain, Britain! Now it´s ten past Hermann by the way, I must go...
